At First Minister’s Questions on 9 June, Nicola Sturgeon repeated her commitment to ending the intimidating protests outside the Sandyford Clinic in Glasgow Kelvin, and other sexual health clinics around the country. She also committed to convening the promised summit on Buffer Zones and Abortion Rights later this month.

I have submitted several questions about the Sandyford Clinic, the behaviour or protestors and the need for effective action to be taken as a matter of urgency. As the First Minister said earlier in her response the Scottish Government will offer support to Local Authorities who take action to deter protestors from intimidating and anti social behaviour, which is completely unacceptable.
